MoltBook and the Agentic Future
OpenClaw gained attention earlier this year around the launch of MoltBook, a social media site purportedly populated entirely by agents. In February, OpenClaw’s creator, Peter Steinberger, announced that he had joined OpenAI. The MoltBook spectacle was later revealed to have been partially the work of humans impersonating agents, described as effective theater that doubled as marketing for OpenClaw, whatever its credibility cost.
